There’s something about seeing the world from 30,000 feet that gives you clarity you can’t always find on the ground.
Looking out over the Grand Canyon during my flight, I was struck by how vast, quiet, and honest it all looked from above. No distractions. No filters… Just truth!
And it got me thinking…
What’s the aerial view of my own inner world?
Here’s what came up:
➡️ I saw where scarcity was still quietly driving my choices.
➡️ I saw the way I avoid discomfort, not because something’s wrong with me, but because my old beliefs told me I shouldn’t have to feel it.
➡️ I saw how buffering (with food, busyness, and overthinking) was just me trying to stay safe… but at the cost of staying stuck.
The truth?
My mindset, not my meal plan, was keeping me from moving forward. And if I’m honest, that pattern wasn’t about willpower. It was about fear.
But the view from up here? It’s showing me something else:
🟡 I can sit with discomfort.
🟡 I can trust my body.
🟡 I can choose again, with compassion.
This is what I help my clients discover, too. Not just a new plan, but a new lens. A shift in how they see themselves.
So I’ll ask you:
💭 What do you see from up here?
💭 What belief is quietly driving your choices?
💭 Where might a little compassion create a lot of clarity?
The answers might surprise you. And they might just set you free.
